Descriptions

Descriptions within product listings are taken from the product packaging itself (you didn't really think we would use *that* many exclamation marks did you?) and RetroGear cannot take responsibility for any perceived differences between the description given and the gameplay or graphics within the game itself. Returns for this reason will not be accepted.

If the game is complete with manual or other original extras it will be stated within the product description. If no such information is given within the product description then assume it has no manual or extras included. A game will be considered complete if it contains game, manual and anything listed on the packaging. Advertising material/registration cards etc. that may have been included originally may not be present (unless stated in the listing). If you want clarification of condition or the presence of any manual or other extras, feel free to contact us via email or via our online chat facility.

Testing

Cartridge games are tested prior to storage. Cassette and disk based games are tested where possible, but it is important to remember some of the software is well over 30 years old and many end-user cassette players may also suffer dirty/magnetised heads/head-alignment issues (or all three!). It is for these reasons that all magnetic storage media including cassettes, wafas, floppy disks and microdrives are sold as collector's items only and come with no guarantee as to the viability of the data contained.

Guarantees

Refurbished hardware is covered by a 3 month guarantee, meaning we will repair or replace non-working items that have been returned to us and can be seen to have not been tampered with or altered in any way. Because of the fragility, unreliability and scarcity of ULAs, these are not covered by our guarantee. Where hardware has an original keyboard membrane, should this membrane be damaged by opening the case, any replacement membrane will be a chargeable repair.

See our Privacy Policy for details on how to return faulty items.

All software is European PAL unless stated otherwise in the listing or title.
